この曲を初めて聴いたのは、自分が高校生の頃で、
当時は今の様にサブスクもないので、音楽を聴きたいなら、
レコードショップ（タワーレコードやHMV等）で、CDを購入する必要がありました。

当時、自分がどのような経緯でボブディラン(Bob Dylan)のCDを手にしたかなんて、
全く覚えてないのですが、
曲を聴いた瞬間に、何かとんでもない事をしでかしている奴がいる
と感じたのは覚えています。

構成はアコースティックギター、ハーモニカ、エレキギター、ドラム、ベース、オルガン。
コード進行はシンプルですが、このクセの強い歌い方、クセの強いリフ！
滅茶苦茶な言葉のパッチワークみえる歌詞の中に、一つ本質的な言葉をたらして、
歌詞に安心感を持たせるというディラン独特の心地よさ、
いつまでも多面的に愉しめる曲だと思いますね。

当時、ジャケ買いと言って、
ジャケットのデザイン性の心地良さだけで、CDを購入するという概念がありました。
